Born in Tokyo in 1964, Takaharu Tezuka was the founder of Tezuka Architects along with Yui Tezuka in 1994. He is currently also a Professor at Tokyo City University since 2009. In 1990 he completed a master’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania, USA after graduating at Musashi Institue of Technology in 1987. Various awakening works produced by Tezuka Architects have won awards and become a phenomenon in the world of architecture and design. One of the projects we know is Fuji Kindergarten in 2007.

This educational building for the right-hand kindergarten became one of the turning points in the emergence of Tezuka Architects on the surface of the architectural world. A building designed differently by providing a link between children’s behavior and learning to nature becomes a different point of view from some of the educational constructions that existed in those days. The latest project of particular concern is Muku Nursery School.

In particular, Takaharu Tezuka will give a talk in Anabata Talk(s) e-Series #3.8 digitally through the ZOOM platform. Interest in looking forward, how his thoughts on Nostalgic Future will be present in-depth.
