19:00 – 21:00 GMT+727.10.20 // The Philosophy // Maximilian Jencquel
Platform ZOOM Webinar
His journey in exploration formed a variety of perspectives that made the basis of his design and design philosophy. France became a historic City in the early days of his career, as the first project was done after working with Andree Putman and Christian Liaigre to carry out design projects in Europe. After the project was work on in various countries, but after traveling to Indonesia in 2010, Ubud became Max’s spirit in the port of his career. In 2nd year after his move to Ubud, Max founded Studio Jencquel in 2011.
Max finds different perspectives that he did not get in various countries in Europe when he began settling in Ubud, Bali. Prioritizing the idealism he had championed, it was felt that he did not give spirit in his design, he needed to provide aesthetic elements and make use with the nature available. Ubud with its natural extremes provides a lot of inspiration and free wiggle room to continue to develop its design. An increasingly dynamic flow, entrenched thinking will run along with the plan’s foresight. Design becomes a generic component, where each design must have a storytelling and in-depth meaning by strengthening the nature of the design and utilizing an adaptive and sustainable design approach. Maximilian Jencquel will exclusively present his philosophy and the approaches made to the works he has so far presented. Stay forward to Tuesday night’s Anabata digital show for the series.
