A practitioner as well as an academic, in his works, seeks to explain the connection between the material used and the shape of the building so that it becomes a form that is not only beautiful but useful in the long run. The character of his works is based on continuity and adaptability, representing projects with limited funds by combining natural elements of the urban landscape with architecture.
His experiences in architecture since 2004, took him on a variety of projects of various scales from small to large, based on the functionalization of their respective buildings. Several times were awarded in regional awards at Architecture in The Canary Island, as well as national and international winners and finalists in the FAD and WAF Awards, as winners in two categories at once. In these talks, he will talk about Fernando Menis’s journey in exploring his works so that it becomes a slick idea.
